Bobby Bullet is an award winning singer/songwriter. His Ojibwa culture infuses his unique music with sensitivity, passion and cultural connection. Nimble guitar fingers coax the sounds of both Native history and contemporary Native issues from his Les Paul Standard. Original lyrics bring Bobby's songs to life for audiences of all cultures.
Bobby has long been highly respected through the musical community. The State of Wisconsin has recently declared Bobby Bullet a "Master Folk Artist" and awarded him an Apprenticeship Grant to transmit his important cultural skills on to a new generation of talented learners. In 2014 Bobby was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Summer Music Awards.
In 2013 the Native Arts and Cultural Foundation awarded Bobby a fellowship to produce a new series of songs. This collection of songs offers a rare look inside Native American culture. Written from within the circle, the songs explore important cultural themes.
