ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bobby Kyle has been a traveling Blues Musician and entertainer the greater part of his life.
What separates Bobby from the majority of Bluesmen is the remarkable 40-year history of working with his mentors and heroes. This experience has positioned him for a bright future.
HIS TIME IS NOW!

What a resume Bobby Kyle has achieved: learning from Lonnie Mack in the late 1970’s; working as a full time band member for Bill Dicey from 1979-1981; going on the road with Eddie Kirkland between 1983 and 1989; and touring and recording with Blues Hall Of Famer, Johnny “Clyde” Copeland, from 1989 to 1997. For the past twenty years, from 1997 to the present, Bobby has developed a career as a well-respected songwriter/guitarist/vocalist/producer, who currently leads the impressive East Coast Based Band, Bobby Kyle & The Administers.

“ITS MY LIFE” is an album of 12 very well thought out songs providing enjoyment for every listener, beginning with the opening track, Daily Bread, written by Johnny Copeland, and continuing with Driftwood, an Americana flavored original. Tomorrow Night, spotlighting Little Sammy Davis on harp, was written in 1939 by Sam Coslow and Will Grosz, and recorded in 1947 by Lonnie Johnson. The closing song is Little Boy Blue, written by Robert Lockwood Jr. There are five other original gems on this record, which has been decades in the making. Bobby Kyle’s mentors and heroes would be proud to know that the torch has been passed to a very deserving, well respected Bluesman, who continues to perform and travel far and wide to educate audiences of all ages to the music that he loves -THE BLUES. Highly Recommended!
