ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

I was born under a blazing orange sun in 1966 from a long haired mom, who painted each room in a different colour, and a just and loving dad, who taught me to stick to dreams. It was the year when Hendrix went to London and the Starship Enterprise started its voyage through time and space. I remember the first step on the moon and grew up in the hope of once being a part of that groovy new world. But then came Techno, HipHop, Desert Storm, 9/11 and an overall culture of fear; and suddenly I found myself surrounded by hipsters who would rather enjoy cooking together than having sex and Rock n Roll. And so I'm trying to bring those colours back. Making music that frees the heart.

Influences: BB King, Peter Green, Freddie King, Albert Collins, Jimi Hendrix, Jerry García, Neil Young, Frank Zappa, Joe Satriani, Crispian Mills, Joe Cocker, Frank Sinatra, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Carlos Santana, Ibrahim Ferrer, Adriano Celentano, Antonello Venditti, G. Brassens, G. Moustaki
