Album Notes
Euphonic Frontiers - This project is a collection of singles released at different times —yet, all share a common euphonic goal. The compositions must be agreeable in sounds; be pleasant to the ear, and harmonious. The color RED —the palette for this project — can be the color of extremes, as well as the color of passionate love and adventure. The Euphonic Frontiers collection seeks to exemplify all these concepts while providing interesting, adventurous and passionate pieces to enjoy.
The first single in the project, Lightyear, is mainly contemporary jazz, although the track incorporates elements of several other genres. Careful production makes sure every instrument and sound has its optimal place and rightful impact. Engineering and mastering were kept in-house to control every aspect of the release, leaving no one else to blame. A light-year is a unit of distance or a unit of length in astronomy equal to the distance that light travels in one year in a vacuum. Because it includes the word year, the term light-year is sometimes misinterpreted as a unit of time. I’ve covered a lot of distance in the making of this track, feels like several Lightyears.
