'Believe In Me' is a collection of modern grooves with fresh beats and memorable melodies. Bob Ferry plays the guitar with just the right touch, at that perfect place where discovery meets mastery. If you like Robben Ford, Earl Klugh, Pat Martino with a little Jeff Beck looking over Hendrix's shoulder, you'll love this CD!

Cool blend of tasteful styles
This CD runs across many different musical styles, yet still retains a sense of uniformity. Although Bob is a guitar player, this CD isn't the stereotypical shredfest many players put out in hope of showing off how many notes per minute they can play. He knows when to play, and when not to. Vocals are minimal, but the mood is thick!
Many of the songs are nicely compiled jazz tunes with a slight twist. Take Shelter sounds like it could have been put on a Miles Davis/Mike Stern album.
I_Eee is a nice little funk and electronic tune. Never E Nough brings out some distorted-guitar with a nice groove. Lejos... is a great Spanish-style acoustic song. The last song, Spirit Call, brings the feeling of a small club or coffee shop when that great local guy comes to play. Bob's precision playing really comes out on this tune!
Overall this is an excellent listening CD, filled with all kinds of great guitar tones, fretwork, and structure.

A tasteful blend of melodic intrumental guitar styles!
Bob Ferry demonstrates his unique talent through well-crafted songs and inspiring guitar playing. From funk to soul, bop to rock, and jazz to cool country, this CD never ceases to entertain. With every listen something new is discovered: an interesting voicing, a melodic phrase or a funky rhythm.

This CD is dead on, and I highly recommend it!!!
