ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bob Greenman is a singer/song-writer whose style grew from influences of Americana, alt-country and blues. Growing up along the upstate New York/Pennsylvania border he spent his early years working and living in working-class rural and urban areas. As a kid, he listened to R&B and country cross-over songs. He was inspired by the cries for justice coming from the protest song writers of the sixties and has written poetry and short stories on these themes. However, musical rhythms were rumbling inside of him, calling him into music and songwriting. The melodies and rhythms that he creates draw the listener in as he weaves stories that address social issues, the environment and working-class life. He also crafts edgy (sometimes quirky) songs about life and love.
