ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The B Zero B Project - Bio

Bob Kasper and Tim Borkowski are cousins who grew up in the same house in Harrison, NJ, where they first started writing songs together in their basement. They listened to similar music, because Tim would steal a lot of Bob’s records. One time, they drove up to Boston to see Pete Townshend and got so drunk they were cut-off and kicked out of an Irish pub there.

After a very long layoff from music, being a family man, and working for a living, Bob has gotten inspiration from Indy artists performing solo acts in small venues in NYC. In the past few years, Bob Kasper has become a regular on the local singer-songwriter scene, playing various venues in and around the state with his acoustic guitar.

"It’s something that’s been missing from my life and I needed to fill that void. I felt it was time to break out the acoustic guitar and start working on new material along with brushing up on the oldies and get my feet wet performing again. It’s going to be a challenge for me to up my game. I know 20 years off is a long time, but it’s now or never. You gotta live while you can. Time goes by so damn fast." – BK

Bob’s played in several bands over the years, including Kikapoo Joy Juice, where he met drummer Rob Savoy. Tim has played in several bands over the years including Groovski and Procedure Club. Despite the several projects, Bob and Tim continue to write songs and play shows together as much as they can.

“This is acoustic music making of high excellence. the B Zero B project is pretty much an A+ on every level.” – shortandsweetnyc.com
