Review: Bob McHugh is one of the finest contemporary jazz pianists and composers recording today. His CD collection, INTERPLAY, is a testament to this artist's good taste, great talent, and amazing keyboard stylings.
McHugh gives the jazz listening audience a full measure of fine jazz performances with both his own compositions and those of other composers. There are 11 songs in the collection. Among the songs are found "My Funny Valentine," McHugh's "Traveling Song," "My Romance," Cole Porter's "I Love You," and Horace Silver's "Song For My Father."

Fans of Bob McHugh will greatly enjoy the intricate musical happenings in INTERPLAY, and those new to his piano stylings are in for a fine treat. INTERPLAY is a winner and great entertainment.

Tracks: "Summer Stride" is a classic stride piano song composed and played by Bob McHugh. Stride piano fans will love this original jazz composition.
