Album Notes
"The coat and tie never did fit. I was out of place and didn't like it a bit! The reverend tag and the pulpit never was me! Decided with the time that I got left, gonna quit pretending just be myself. Sometimes it scares my wife to death but I suspect she still loves me even in my Pocket Ts and Lees.

Pocket Ts and Lees, faded and frayed at the knees, not by the factory but by hangin' on me. Pocket Ts and Lees, going with the wind, life is a breeze. I only want to know that my Father is pleased. I'm in my Pocket Ts and Lees.

God bless the steeple people. I love them all but a man's got to get up and go to where he's called: prisons, streets and jails, a yard from the gates of hell. I grab my guitar and I follow the star that I see. Jesus loves even me in my pocket Ts and Lees.

When it's time to lay this guitar down, lay these remains in the ground, I'd sure be blessed by this one request: would you bury me in my Pocket Ts and Lees?
