Album Notes

Guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Bob Petrocelli has many years of experience in a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from doo wop to rock to free jazz, in addition to his main focus on blues based material. Bob had appeared on over 10 CDs as a leader or sideman and contributed to over 50 digital download compilations. His previous solo blues CD received radio airplay worldwide in over sixteen countries and one song received a Billboard Song Award.

Originally from NYC, Bob relocated to the Tampa Bay area of Florida and has been appearing there regularly in a variety of musical settings. This album represents a trio date with two longtime collaborators, Joe Gregory on bass, and Charles "Chinatown Chuck" Bosselman on drums, providing rhythm section support and additional vocals.

Of the nine tracks on this collection, six are original compositions - five by Bob and one by Chinatown Chuck. Rounding out the collection are three covers, one each by Arthur Smith, Sonny Boy Williamson, and WAR.

The music here ranges from traditional blues and roots through blues rock and into funky jam based R&B and represents a portion of a typical night's gig from this trio of musicians
