Album Notes
"Branches of Life" was written to commemorate the opening of the new NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) at the University of Nebraska Hospital, Omaha Nebraska.
Rebecca's father is one of the head neonatologists there, and this song was meant as a gift not only to him, but to all of the parents going through the very emotional time of having their newborn infant in the NICU.
"Branches of Life" is a very uplifting song; Rebecca's enchanting vocals highlight her very poetic lyrics and the string arrangement is quite beautiful.
You may find a tear in your eye upon listening.

Rebecca is the lead singer/songwriter of Rebecca L. Bolam and the Issues. Check out her debut album here at CD Baby and hear new songs at or
