Album Notes

Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera is the first large-scale musical work by Artistic Directors/Composers Bonnie Bogovich and Elizabeth Rishel, featuring the additional talents of Film Director Barry Bogovich, Director of Photography Edwin Huang, and Special Effects Makeup Designer Arvin Clay.

The production was designed to be a live theatrical opera accompanied by an interactive film element, acknowledging Pittsburgh’s role as the ‘birthplace of the zombie’ by featuring filmed locations from iconic parts of town. It debuted with a sold-out run of performances at the Grey Box Theater in October of 2010. This Studio Soundtrack features notable arias from the production.
