ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
It has often been a standing rule of thumb that when you re record a tune that was such a big hit that it becomes a "sacred cow" and should not be redone because the cover will never live up to the original hit. The Boogie Kings broke all of the rules and re recorded all of these hit songs with the original artists and the result was a best selling South Louisiana project. Check it out and you will see for yourself. This CD has quickly become a collector's classic.
