ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Pogues high on speed ! A great mix between irish music and punk rock. More trad than Flogging Molly and more rock than the Young Dubliners. High tempo rock'n'reel, and it looks even better than it sounds !

The Booze Brothers started in 1998 playing pogues covers in pubs.
A few years later, they burn the stages of festivals and major clubs, playing with Jimmy Cliff, the Pogues, Maurice Lennon, celtas Cortos and more.
The've never stopped touring in western Europe, with an average rate of 80 gigs per year !

The fans, although being mostly teenagers, range from 10 to 80 years old.

Their secret is the mix between Traditional music ( Irish, French, Arab, Gypsy) and big Rock (spiced with punk, dub or reggae) wich gives an Irish tradfolrockpunk, thick and nourishing like stout.

You never forget a night with the Booze Brothers !
