ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born Dead Warheads – New Album „Rise of the undead“

With their debut EP „Rise of the undead“, Born Dead Warheads and their feature guests show what they can do best. Hard-hitting english/spanish rap parts on a relentless hip-hop, electronica and guitar-fundament.

The sound of war, a hard drumset on distorted synthesizers and a combination of three artists with different backgrounds – you are in the middle of „Rise of the undead“ from Born Dead Warheads.

The crew consists of Styco, Slay Boredom and Contravoz. They combine 90s rap, trap, dubstep and metal to a collage of sounds that never lose on brutality and aggressiveness.

„we’ve had it with the washed out rapsound here in switzerland. We started a crew to create something unique, something you longed for since the day your older brother showed you meteora back in 2003 on his new 60mb mp3-player.“ Says Slay Boredom.

The go to adress for fans of aggresive sound, with flow-varations, concise voices and full-bodied lyrics.
The sometimes humourus lyrics paint a picture of exaggerated metaphors of violence in which fictional enemies get destroyed. Influenced through rap crews from the 90s like Cypress Hill or Wu-Tang all the songs are perfomed in english and spanish language.

Born Dead is Selfmade - to 100%. From the music, the videos, from the cover artwork to the endproduction. Everything got planed and realised in thousands of hours and only made possible with support of various people with expert know-how.
Starting with the beats, which got produced by Contravoz in his own four walls, aswell as the mix. All the songs got recorded within the last two years in an empty prison cell. The guys in london at Subvert Mastering gave it the final polish.

Next to the hard music, the crew stands out of the uniform porridge with their handcrafted masks. The masks are not only a marketing-move, they are a visual extension of their music and the personalities behind them.
