Album Notes
Deep On the Line is the third album from Northern California’s Bottom Dwellers. This is the first album with their newest member and long-time friend, singer/songwriter Robbie Thayer. The lineup change has allowed the band to explore their darker and quieter side. This album pokes and prods the boundaries of many Americana styles as those familiar with the band have come to expect, but this time with a stronger emphasis on dynamics, textures and harmonies. There is still plenty of upbeat variety and quirkiness to keep things moving along. The Bottom Dwellers have really matured over their ten year history, and Deep On the Line is a testament to that.
