Album Notes
Bounce is known for creating wild, dark and forward-thinking music where each member plays a uniquely equitable role within the compositional concept. The band's idea of mutual coexistence between compostion and improvisation is creating a large sonic framework which goes well – very well indeed – without a harmony instrument.
After the band was established in 2010, Bounce emerged to be an insiders' tip and promptly won the prestigious 2013 Zurich Jazz Prize. After releasing their first studio-recording „Curiosities“ on German indie label MFLrecords and extensive touring throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria they became part of the „Suisse Diagonales Facilitation of the Arts“ program. In 2015, Bounce are touring, playing shows at some of Europe's most well known clubs and festivals alongside outstanding jazz artists such as Joshua Redman.
