ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Brandon's love of music spans multiple genres and even blends them together, so it's difficult to assign specific ones to himself. He writes mostly instrumental music of all kinds, playing and sequencing synth/keyboards and other sounds, but his main lead instrument is usually electric and acoustic guitar. Being very quiet when he was young, Brandon instead chose to express himself in other ways and discovered music was the best and easiest way to do that, and far more effectively than mere conversation could ever do. The result is a very personal expression of himself and, as such, is exciting, passionate, and emotional.

Brandon started writing music at a young age fooling around with MOD tracker programs and simple MIDI sequencers. He partnered with many artists over the years to try and start various projects, but while more progress was made each time none of them ever really got off the ground. Having been involved in the online fangaming scene and offering to write music for games, in 2004 he was asked to write a complete orchestral soundtrack for a free and officially licensed fan remake of the computer game "King's Quest III" by Sierra Online and began production on it with a nonexistent budget. The game was finally released in 2011 and reactions were very positive. The same team who developed the remake asked Brandon again to compose a complete score for a commercial game project they were making called "Mage's Initiation", slated for a 2014 release. During this time Brandon also partnered with a friend to create a new hip-hop/electronic group called EDIFY where he co-produced and composed many of the songs for both the self-titled album "EDIFY" and the upcoming album "Ignition", which releases late 2013/early 2014. He also played guitar for live performances.

Brandon is now striking out on his own to explore his own direction and musical path, writing music that is personal to him and an expression of his outlook on music and life. "Uncontrolled Reentry" is his first completed project on his own, representing years of aspiring to create a musical project and to finally be able to express himself in the best way he knows how. It reflects the excitement of finally achieving that milestone and the hopes of continuing on to do more in the future. "Uncontrolled Reentry" precedes a planned full album by Brandon tentatively entitled "Peaks and Valleys". He hopes to garner enough interest and support so he can finish his upcoming debut album and realize his dream.

His inspirations include Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Phil Keagy, Don Ross, Michael Manring, Pagan's Mind, Dream Theatre, and Delirious?.
