ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bag Full Ah Beats : 2020 Olympics is inspirational as well as motivational. The fire starter soundtrack for athletes all over the world as you journey to improve your health and fitness. With today's generation gaining more and more pounds this soundtrack is intended to smooth out your experience making for a fun and groovy challenge.

The Olympics for more and more people is becoming a reality as they train harder and harder. It is know all over as the modern international sports competition consisting of athletic and sporting contests held in a selected country every four years since its inception in Athens. A time for laying aside political and religious differences.

The Olympic Games, which originated in ancient Greece as many as 3,000 years ago, were revived in the late 19th century and have become the world’s preeminent sporting competition. From the 8th century B.C. to the 4th century A.D., the Games were held every four years in Olympia, located in the western Peloponnese peninsula, in honor of the god Zeus. The first modern Olympics took place in 1896 in Athens, and featured 280 participants from 13 nations, competing in 43 events. Since 1994, the Summer and Winter Olympic Games have been held separately and have alternated every two years.
The USA Has Won the Most Medals

The US have clearly won the most gold medals and the most medals overall, more than doubling the next ranked country (these figures include medals won in Rio 2016). Second placed USSR had fewer appearances at the Olympics, and actually won more medals on average (see the 2nd table). The top 10 includes one country no longer in existence (the Soviet Union), so their medal totals will obviously not increase, however China is expected to continue a rapid rise up the ranks. With the addition of the 2016 data, China has moved up from 11th (in 2008) to 9th (2012) to 7th (2016). The country which has attended the most games without a medal is Monaco (20 Olympic Games), the country which has won the most medals without winning a gold medal is Malaysia (0 gold, 7 silver, 4 bronze).

TOKYO 2020
Fifty-six years after having organised the Olympic Games, the Japanese capital will be hosting a Summer edition for the second time, from 24 July to 9 August 2020. The Games in 1964 radically transformed the country. According to the organisers of the event in 2020, the Games of the XXXII Olympiad of the modern era will be “the most innovative ever organised, and will rest on three fundamental principles to transform the world: striving for your personal best (achieving your personal best) accepting one another (unity in diversity) and passing on a legacy for the future (connecting to tomorrow)”.

Let your Olympics begin.
