ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Brandon Payton-Carrillo is a singer-songwriter from Milwaukee who spent years polishing his craft in the local scene with his former group. the Blackberries. After parting ways with the Blackberries, Brandon Payton- Carrillo and The Love is Loud!! was born , and launched a nationwide tour upon completion of the newly formed group's second, and Brandon's third, full length album, "The Breakup".

The Breakup was produced, performed and written by Brandon Payton-Carrillo, in a dingy warehouse in the Bayview neighborhood of Milwaukee. With the help of engineer/friend Jamison Thorwald, "The Breakup" became a concept album that explores love won, lost, and redeemed. At the crossroads where Otis Redding and the Smiths meet, "The Breakup" provides the soundtrack for the sad and sexy.

The stylistic variety of "The Breakup" changes from song to song: From the uptempo rocker that is "Belvidere", to the muscular funk of "Amazing!!", to the majestic post-punk of "My Sweetheart the Drunk", and the brilliant pop of "Lonely Days" and "I Live to Adore You". Whatever your background, there is a little something for everyone.
