ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SF Bay Area's premier 19th century mostly a cappella group Brass Farthing celebrates their 10th anniversary with 400 years of Christmas music on their new album A BRASS FARTHING CHRISTMAS. Enjoy favorites like O Holy Night and a snow melting version of the Mel Torme classic A Christmas Song. Drink and sing along to wassails from the Victorian era and a few golden oldies from the Renaissance period. Then come back to the present with two comedic originals. The Ballad of Yukon Cornelius which celebrates a long lost folk hero who helped saved Rudolph and Oh Christmas in Dublin, Ohio - an ode to Irish America. Finally, ring in the New Year with a heart rending Auld Lang Syne. A BRASS FARTHING CHRISTMAS is the perfect collection to brighten a holiday party or warm a cold Christmas Morning.
