ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Why are we called Braw?

"braw"
ADJECTIVE
Scottish

Unintelligible, yet somehow mysteriously compelling, Scots word for grand, fine, super, etc

It's a braw, bricht, moonlicht nicht t' nicht
(Translated into lesser English:
It's a superb, bright, moonlit night tonight)

Braw is the first joint venture of Edinburgh born Scottish brother duo, Iain & Andrew Mundy. Iain has been songwriting for a number of years and in 2018 released his first EP, “The Tide”. Andrew has been heavily involved in the musical, theatrical and a cappella scenes for the last four years in St Andrews.

2019 marks their coming together as a duo and they are delighted to release their first single "Swing Door", which features their trademark harmonies in this pop ballad.

Here's what some folks have said about us...

"Braw are made up of two incredibly talented brothers blending their blood harmonies together to create new versions of much loved songs. The unique style of songwriting blends their voices together to create something truly unique. Two wonderful guys, making incredible music. Definitely a duo that you want to keep your eye on! They are heading great places…" Meg Curran Festival Manager, Southside Fringe Festival Founder, Yellow Road

"A pair of very talented brothers, like The Proclaimers but better!" Scott Wishart (Newborn Sessions)
