Album Notes
Realizing the only way they could hear the music they liked was to play it, Delaware-based Braxton Hicks released its first recording, the 5-song EP “Dissolve,” in 1996, followed by its first full-length CD, 'Where the Sky Meets the Ground,' in 1998.

Founding members Carrie Baith, Bill Bush, Rod Whisner and Roger Hillis underwent several lineup changes before solidifying a six-piece line-up with Michael Fernandez, Chris Lausch and David Manges for 2002’s breakthrough “Modesty.”

The band toured extensively promoting the release and performed at industry events such as the SXSW, The Philadelphia Music Conference, the Cutting Edge Music Conference and the Route 1 Music Conference.

In 2018, a rebooted Braxton Hicks joins contemporaries Belly, The Breeders, Magnapop and Buffalo Tom in recording and touring.
