Always late enough

Some could see Parisian duet Breaklose as a rock band playing folk songs. Or maybe it's the way round.

Album Notes
We are Breaklose. We are a duet from Paris, France, where both of us were born in 1981. We met each other on feb 2002. We started ths project during summer 2002. Our first live apparition took place in Belgium on the 13th of dec 2002, supporting British act Anathema. We decided to stick to this duet type of band because we want to keep control on our songs and also because we dont enjoy shouting at people (well, we do shout at each other). However, we work with about 10 musicians, be it on stage or on cd. We recorded our debut album between may 2003 & jan 2005 (we are slow people) and produced it all by ourselves. The songs on Always Late Enough were inspired by the music we like and the music we dont like (‘right lets make sure we dont sound like THAT’), by the people we know and the places we’ve been to. We were signed on Strangelight Records, an irish independent label, in march 2004. We arent able to label our style (that old cliché), so please do it yourself. We are genuinely interested in your opinion and thoughts about our music. Thanks for your interest.
