As people become more health conscious there is an acknowledgement that health and wellness comprise far more than being free from chronic illness. There is a vibrancy that is required in order for us to embrace all of the wonders of life. Achieving our optimum level of health and wellness is the bridge to this vibrancy. Engaging and revitalizing our entire being—body, mindset, emotions and purpose—is a critical piece along the path.

Living Breath is a meditation for the Sacral Chakra which is the area of movement and connection. Breath is movement. With each inhalation you move fresh vibrant air into your lungs and throughout your physical body. As you hold this breath inside your body it calls into motion the energy within. The following meditation is a moving meditation. It uses breath as a focal point and movement of the body to draw this breath in. Through targeted positions, you will move the energy around and through the physical body. You will use your breath to create movement within your body and release blockages from your various areas. As emotions are released, allow them to flow out of your experience with your next exhalation.

As you move gracefully through the positions listen to your body. This meditation is not meant to cause stress or discomfort. Only go as far as comfortable in each position. Over time you will notice more movement, more flexibility in each position. Allow your body space to heal.
