ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With a diverse background, Brent's musical influences range from Bluegrass, Blues, Rock, Southern Rock, R&B, Classic Rock, and of course Country.
His high energy and ability to relate to his audience makes him very unique in wanting to also be in the crowd when he sings! I want people to be able to relate to my music and feel apart of it. I want my music to make people happy and to feel like they are not alone in this world!
"Love Someone Like Me" is a strong, eerie sounding song in a good way. The guitar work was tracked with Mark Knopfler influences and has a Dire Straits meets Country feel!
"Cryin" with a deep rich bluegrass/traditional feel, tells a great story of love that is searching for the right "I am sorry" words!!
"When The Good Times Outweigh The Bad" is a song written about Brent's personal experiences and some hard times in his life! He talks about kids and old times.
"Midnight Prayer", the title cut, is an awesome video in the works about a beautiful girl and a cowboy's vision of what he see's in this girl in a Honky Tonk!
"Your Cheatin Heart", is an old Hank Williams tune that Brent put his twist on and made it a West Texas Swing dance song!! Honky Tonks around the nation get requests for this re-orchestrated legendary song with Hank's influences!
"My Girl Friday" WOW! what can we say about this! Listen to this song because you will not believe the outcome at the end! What you think is going on is probably incorrect!
"Drinkin To The Way We Were" is a Garth Brooks Friends In Low Places Type of song! It speaks of the buddies in their beer joint/bar drinkin it up and washing away the Pain!! High energy and a very cool message!
"Cowboy's a Legend" is a very upbeat transition of an ol Cowboy that turns in his spurs and saddles for a stick shift, chrome wheels and his horses are at his feet! He is now a cowboy drivin a Big Rig!! True story about Brent's Dad and a quick view of his past and present life!! Your gonna love this high speed song!
"Juke Box" is a smooth smooth cheatin song and what takes place at the scene! The Steel Guitar was voted one of the best musical licks in the industry! Listen for the transition after the chorus line. It will take your breath away!
"Eventually" is a powerful song on apologies and forgiveness. This song makes you think about what truly is important in our lives!
"Cryin'" (Old) In the studio, Brent & the producer had different opinions about the 2 different versions of this song so they decided to include both and they both are absolutely fabulous! You decide which version you like the most!
