Album Notes
Brian Asha is a recording artist and producer from Montreal, now based in Toronto, Canada. His newest recordings include sounds in dance music, trip hop, retro pop and alt rock; delivered with his unique, intimate vocal style.

Brian came up in Toronto's alternative music scene on Queen Street West in the 1980's and worked with bands like Ministry of Love, Groovy Religion and K. He formed King Culture with Donovan Black, who played drums for UK reggae stars Twinkle Brothers and later Toronto's Messenjah. King Culture released several tracks including MX Missilies On The Attack and 20th Century/Western World fusing rock, electronic dance music and reggae.

In 1995 he moved back to Montreal and made the EP Supernova at the legendary Quebec Studio Morin Heights, working with producer Nicolas Miranda and singer Pascale Coulombe of Montreal's alt rock illuminati COMA. The sessions produced Lady Queen Street and Super Nova, signalling a grittier rock sound. Later sessions produced Time, Grace of God, Put the Radio On and Hold Me In Your Arms revealing more personal side to his writing.

In the 1990's, he pioneered Canada’s underground rave scene in Toronto and Montreal with House of Euphoria, a DJ cooperative, fusing sexy performance art and electronic dance music in shows like CYBORG NRG 2XS, CHROMIUM CABARET and OFF WORLD, widely reported in the Canadian media and on CNN.

Since the 1990's, Brian has worked extensively in online media. He is a Canadian internet pioneer. Today, he is a successful technology entrepreneur with a passion for helping create positive social change.

Since 2001 he has given over 5000 kids and teens the ultimate Pop Star experience through his company Party Stars.

He has continued to create music, partnering in recent years with Karl Mohr of Tape Life Records in Toronto, Jordan Perry in Montreal and Reggae R&B artist Alicia Cinnamon. His newest recordings have focused on dance music, trip hop and retro pop, and are available on multiple platforms around the world.
