Album Notes
Songs From Shaw Country are original compositions written by singer songwriter Brian Hastings (one song, Stockley was co-written with Daryl Carlson). Brian lives in central New Hampshire with his family. Of Irish roots, Brian's songs are tales of living in the mountains of New Hampshire, raising kids and playing music with friends in his barn as well as across Northern New England. The album has an all-star line-up of supporting musicians including Daryl Carlson, Mark Dearborn, Ellen Carlson, John Petruzelli, Ryan Ordway, Peter Heimlick, Ed Fayle, Chris Ricardi, Elias Hastings, Greg Heppe and back-up singers Anika, Emily and Ani Hastings!
The songs are powerful stories, rich with images of country life and pleasing to the ear.
