The Broom Closet Ramblers would not exist without Johnny McGowan. Many of these tracks started out as seeds planted during guitar lessons with him, and grew into songs with his guidance and encouragement. This album is gratefully dedicated to him. On any given night, Johnny can be found playing Atlanta stages with Grinder Nova, The Marques, Hi-Test, or Cletis and his City Cousins, just to name a few.

Big thanks to Jon Mark Lundell at The Bates Motel for making a pro mix out of a bunch of Garageband tracks, and adding his own musical talents where needed. Jon Mark is a fixture on the Atlanta music scene, a true player in his own right.

Special shout out to Barry Etris, songwriter par excellence (Reuben James, The Bird) who let us record a song of his that he had never recorded himself. Thanks to his long-time friendship with Terry, Sally Brown is now a Rambler favorite. Thanks Barry!

The fine staff and facilities at Firehouse Guitars & Music were instrumental (ha!) in getting BCR off the ground. Sign up for lessons there, its never too early or late!

Thanks to Astrid Lyons at Dos Diablos Design for the cd production, and Joe Paban for the album photos. It's good to have friends who know how to do stuff!

Thanks as well to Wanda for the actual broom closet, Ben for sitting in, to Sita and Jean for putting up with rehearsals, and to Whirled Headquarters for letting us play on their Whirled Tour. Ramble on, y'all!
