Album Notes

Moonlight Feels Right 2014 marks the first new music released by Bruce Blackman in three decades. He was the writer, vocalist and producer of the well-known pop band, Starbuck. His song, "Moonlight Feels Right" became a monster hit, topping the U.S. and international charts. He has toured with ELO, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Hall & Oates, Boston, Seals & Crofts and many others. Bruce has written 8 songs that made the Billboard charts.

With his own studio in Atlanta, Bruce has never stopped writing and recording. This album is the result of those years, featuring songs recorded from 1984 through 2014. "Moonlight Feels Right 2014" includes 12 new songs and 4 never-released vintage songs, including a new version of the band's original "Moonlight Feels Right".

Bruce continues with the well-known, unique Starbuck keyboard based style of Latin/Pop/Jazz played by real musicians. No computers. From the upbeat, feel-good driving song, "Jim's Cafe", to the laid-back beach sound of "Doing Nothing", Bruce gives you a breezy, jazzy quality in his music combined with clever, wry lyrics.

From a master songwriter, this is music that will make you feel good.
