Album Notes
Bruce McFarland was born and raised in suburban Philadelphia. He began playing guitar and singing as a youngster. By age 15, he was appearing regularly on a daily television program on one of Philadelphia’s principal stations. Since then, Bruce has performed on dozens of television and radio programs. Today, Bruce maintains an active career as a studio musician and performer in the Philadelphia region. He can be heard as a singer, guitarist or banjo player on many broadcast commercial jingles and television themes and has recorded with musicians Eric Bazilian (of the Hooters), Dave Batti (bassist with The New Christy Minstrels and John Stewart), Labelle’s drummer, Larry Davis, Jimmy Young (drummer with Frank Sinatra, Barry Manilow and Miami Sound Machine), and played acoustic guitar on the top-40 hit record, “Zoom” by Fat Larry’s Band. Bruce has recorded for producers Tom Sellers (Glen Campbell), Louis deLise (Patti LaBelle), and Nick Martinelli (Diana Ross and Chaka Khan).
