Timeless Swing
Music after my own heart! I've worked with many of the musicians on this album, and it's so refreshing to hear the Nashville String Machine in this setting. I haven't had the opportunity to hear this band live, but when I get back to Nashville, you better believe I'll look for them. The New Orleans-flavored soulful vocals of John Cheek remind me a little of Jack Sheldon. Phenomenal playing by Pat Coil, flying guitar work from Pat Berguson, and a showcase for drummer Bob Mater's versatility. Definitely music to get your "swing" on...!

Big Sofa and the Lazy Boys - Al Fresco
John Cheek (may he rest in peace) was my cousin... and a darn fine R&B vocalist too! This is some wild blues swing music! Get both of his albums, you won't regret it. Awesome!
