Album Notes
BUD NOBLE born in Jersey City, raised in Roselle, New Jersey and a 1966 graduate of Seton Hall Iniversity, began his life of music at the age of five. In his early teens he was the recipient of a Junior Scholarship to the Juilliard School in New York studying under the tutelage of renowned Madame Rosina Lhevinne. In later years he would become a protege of Maestro Emmanuel Bay leading to a guest soloist appearance with the Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra. His strict regimen of classical training was to be colored by a more contemporary and interpretive music style under the guidance of his mentor, legendary orchestra leader and composer Ray Noble. In the late fifties, under Ray's sponsorship, he was invited to further his music education as a staff apprentice in the MGM Music Department in Hollywood. Studying and collaborating with Russell Garcia, a noted film composer and arranger and the legendary Roger Edens, he would eventually enter into a full term contract. He also appeared with the Mort Lindsey orchestra and often was the accompanist for Judy Garland.

Bud Noble By Request features Bud's MOST requested piano bar favorites.
