ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Buffalo Son is an original vision of songs from the porch swing.

Raised in the wilderness of California, his parents provided him with his first touch of art and music. The son of two blue-collar artists, his father a blues harmonica player and his mother a painter, Buffalo Son soon found hiself in the hopeful decay of New York City.

His performing career began in college, playing nights in the darkest of tavern or near the brightest of bonfire. He has since played rooftops, bars and a weekly gig in a Brooklyn cafe. Doing most of his writing on a fire-escape whilst gazing into the starless New York sky, Buffalo Son soon stumbled upon the likes of traditional music, be it folk, country, old-time or bluegrass. Something about this music stirred his blood.

Acoustic folk at its finest
