Album Notes
Dag Livgard was born in Vancouver, BC in 1959. He started playing guitar at the age of twelve, and in his late teens he was writing his own music and playing coffee houses in BC’s Lower Mainland.

In his twenties, Dag trained privately in opera performing numerous recitals around Vancouver while continuing his interest in folk, barbershop, country, and rock and roll. In 2001, he recorded an original country CD under the pseudonym Devan Black and one of the singles from that album, The Bridge, received radio airplay in Canada for a year.

In 2005, Dag teamed up with writer and lyricist Dan Konyha and the duo began writing songs for a children’s music CD based on the characters in the 3D animated series Bumblz. The CD, called Bumblz Tunes: Songs in the Key of Bee, was created with the intention of making music that both children and their parents could enjoy together. Music covering many musical genres.

Today, Dag lives in Vancouver BC with his wife Julie and sons, Sean and Cole. He is co-founder and the Music Director for Bumblz Media, a Vancouver based company that is dedicated to creating high quality, non-violent entertainment for children.

Songs in the Key of Bee
“I want to let you all know that I was very impressed with Bumblz. My children (5 and 2) just love the music. The opening song is one of their favourites and “A New Pair of Shoes” is always sung to get them to put on their shoes when we go out. Bravo!”
-Connie Aylett, White Rock, BC

“Bumblz is one of my son’s best friends! He loves to listen to the CD. He made me put the Pitate Song on repeat in his toy room for 3 hours the other day while he played. He used his imagination playing pirate and even created his own dance. It’s so cute!”
-Pam Glasl, Erie, PA

“Bumblz is a must in our house! Every morning my children start the day listening to their Bumblz music CD – they just can’t get enough of Bumblz!”
- Eileen Vassos, Langley, BC

“I gave the Bumblz Tunes “Songs in the Key of Bee” CD to a friend who has a 2 ½ year old daughter. Both of them LOVE it! Grace (the 21/2 year old) requested her older brother put on “her Bee music” and wouldn’t let up until he did!”
-Donna Ruggiero, East Haven, CT

I couldn’t wait to buy the collection of Bumblz songs on CD. Bumblz is a real hit in our household.

-Lisa Foeste, Babyvibe Editor

“We love Bumblz. Our 2 year old son knows all of the words to the songs on the CD and sings along with his guitar, pretending to be Amblin’ Andy!”
-Katrina Forsyth, Vancouver, BC
