ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Influenced by “Mannheim Steamroller”, the live strings, multiple keyboards and acoustic guitars made this project one of the best Christmas collections the Burchfields have recorded. Styles reminiscent of Latin, European and Classical flow gently from song to song giving it an organic, eclectic feel.

The album begins with soft, rhythms of South America that seem to conjure up images of romantic getaways in Rio De Janeiro. Intertwining classical, jazz and Spanish guitar throughout provides the backdrop until the very end when all is brought to a slower pace. In the reflective style of pianist George Winston, the final song is played with conviction and tenderness.
