ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dave Bush began his musical career as a professional drummer and you can hear evidence of this in the grooves on his debut cd, The Big One, released January 2000.

Babysue Magazine says Dave Bush & Food is "A nice refreshing dose of smooth pop music. The melodies are damn near outasight, the vocals are virtually perfect and warm, and the sound quality is just slick enough without being too slick. For an unknown artist, this borders on fantastic!"

The Big One was primarily recorded at Applehead Studios in Woodstock, New York and mixed at Shelter Island in Manhattan by John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, Ben Folds Five).

Dave Bush & Food is currently playing clubs and conferences in and around NYC, including the Philadelphia Music Conference and a SESAC showcase at the NEMO conference in Boston. They are also in the studio recording a new three-song ep.

I LOVE this album! The songs are very well-written and memorable. I always end up singing The Great Unknown for the rest of the day. This is a must-have album that will, we hope, be a collector's item of the "we-knew-him-when" category. Well-produced, great musicianship.

One listen and you're hooked! It's about time someone stopped trying to be a rock star and started writing good music. Pure and Simple. Encore!
