This is a test, this is only a test. LAN 2126 evolved from sounds that you hear every day and don't really notice. The sounds of daily life, radio , T.V., machinery don't have a musical tone by themselves but combined the make a fascinating rhythm. This combined with human speech and ambient sounds make for a very interesting listening experience. Much of the music on LAN 2126 was inspired by artist like Laure Anderson, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel and Juno Reactor. Many of the words in the songs are from famous speeches, can you guess them? These words are very important and have been transmitted into the depths of space.
Thanks to all the people who made these famous words and to the people who recorded them for all time.
Thanks NBC, CBS, ABC, BBC and all the small broadcasters.
Much of this album was recorded/edited with my eyes closed and just listening to the sounds on the headphones.
Thanks for listening.
