ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Flow like Queen Latifah. Style like MC Lyte, there's a new breed of female MC's coming up and Butta MD is embarking on this new journey. Butta MD has been writing since she was 11 years old, and as she continues to express her love for hip hop, she chooses to speak on her personal stories, as well as others. Inspired by dynamic female artists such as Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Queen Latifah, and MC Lyte to name a few. Margaret Deloach, is a native Memphian professionally known as, Butta MD. Due to a gospel, piano, and freestyle foundation, Butta MD grew into a female lyricist, who was determined to shine in the midst of her and others, struggles and triumphs. Be prepared to be uplifted, encouraged, and inspired through the prolific lyrics of Butta MD with a hint of old school hip hop, soulful singing and neo soul.
