ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
We cut 50 songs, and this represents the First 21 that we mixed. I've been writing songs 40 years, so it's no wonder that there are a number of styles represented. Besides my partner Duck Holland on the bass, I had four splendid cohorts on the project: my old friend Ashbolt Stewart on percussion, and my good friend Ron Rogers engineering and mixing. He had a lot of good ideas that helped bring the songs to life.

Our two ringers were Paul Brainard on lap and pedal steels, and Dave Fleschner on piano, organ, and sampled strings. Their outstanding contributions speak for themselves.
