ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Elixr, Part I is the new EP from Buzzy Tonic. Five great tracks show a continuing development of my style, mixing jazz, funk, prog rock, power pop and soul in a diverse and satisfying set featuring fender rhodes, saxophones, and synthesizers. Check it out!

Buzzy Tonic is a studio project from New York City from singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Szinger. The sound combines jazz and prog rock influences with elements of funk and power pop. The Tonic's adventurous music utilizes strong melodies, driving rhythms, vocal harmonies, slamming solos, tasty jazz chords and complex time signatures to evoke an array of moods, rendered by a jazzy palette featuring saxophones, fender rhodes. John invites friends and family members as collaborators to enhance his sound and vision.

Previous release include the album Face the Heat and the Tonic's debut, The Brothers Zing, in collaboration with his brother Martin.
