ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hot Wire (My Heart) is the third release from Midwest blues rockers, Blue Voodoo. The band features the vocal talents of BJ Allen backed by a power trio of Jerry Fuller on guitars and keys, JP Hurd on bass and harp, and David Daniels on drums. Eleven tracks were penned by either Fuller or Hurd as the band continues to develop their own contemporary blues signature.

Now in their 5th season, Blue Voodoo has already logged two performances at the International Blues Challenge (2005 & 2006) and their previous release, "The Storm", was a semi-finalist in the "Best Self-Produced CD" competition at IBC, 2006. Additionally, the band has garnered air play on domestic and international broadcast, internet, and satellite radio stations that feature blues programming and have appeared on festivals and in clubs in the Midwest area.
