Working Class: Live!

by Byrd House Sound

Heartland Garage Rock reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Steve Earle, The Replacements, The Hold Steady, and The Gaslight Anthem. Jeff Byrd's music has been described as "Joe Strummer-Mellencamp", and that sounds about right!

Album Notes
In 2005 Jeff Byrd released his first album, "Live 2005", taken from some acoustic recordings of the second show he ever played. Fast forward 10 years and as a bookend to a decade of performing, Jeff's band "Byrd House Sound" recorded their last concert, a charity show called "Working Class Heroes" to benefit Firemen, Police, and EMT's in the local community. That concert is now released as a final album called "Working Class LIVE"! "Once Upon a Saturday Night" is a new rendition of a song from his first album, "Live 2005". "Stereoville", "This Kinda Thang", "Danielle's Camaro", are taken from "Jeff Byrd & The Wingmen's" only album, "Stereoville", and are reworked versions for 2015. "Postcard Summer Nights", "Night In Jail", and "Thighs Are Shakin", are fresh off "Byrd House Sounds" debut album, "Postcard Summer Nights". With Steve Johnson on drums for 10 years and Russell Birch on Bass for 8 years, "Working Class LIVE" is a great "last hurrah" for one of Indianapolis, Indiana's most enduring Bar Bands, and leaves the listener waiting to hear where Jeff Byrd's music will go in the next decade!
