Album Notes
From the humble beginnings of performing in pop-up flea market in the streets of Tijuana, Mexico, to walking the Red Carpet at the GRAMMY® Awards in Los Angeles 2014 - to receiving a surprising win in the Best Latin Tropical Album of the Year category for his involvement with Pacific Mambo Orchestra, GRAMMY® Award-Winning Javier Cabanillas is a self taught composer, conga player, and bandleader residing in the San Francisco Bay Area.

"Today, Cabanillas is one of the San Francisco Bay Area's most respected and busiest congueros." - Downbeat Magazine.

Cabanijazz Project is Cabanillas's Debut Album entitled INFRASONIC which has original compositions by Cabanillas and show cases Bay Area Luminaries such as John Santos, Carlos Caro, Aaron Lington, and many handful GRAMMY® Winners. So it not surprising that his tune "Esto Puede Ser Eso" co-arranged with Trombonist Jamie Dubberly received 4 Star Reviews in Downbeat Magazine."

INFRASOINC is a well balanced Mambo Jazz and Retro Latin Dance album great for a road-trip up and down the California Coast, or Hosting a Party with a Latin theme, or just relaxing with a cocktail in front of a fireplace at home.
