Dear Friends,
A humongous *THANK YOU* to CD Baby Publishing for their time on sorting through the false claims on my original music. Tricksters used modern recording technology and posession of my personal master recordings to strip my vocals off of my recordings, and replace the vocal tracks with synthetic instruments, or previously recorded vocal tracks of mine in their posession, have claimed my music and sold it globally and for years. I have been engaged in a decade long legal battle to ammend these violations on my musical compostitions and recordings - which are numerous. Finally, I have legal ownership again, via court order, yet "they" still continue to claim my original music as their own and just... double down. I never saw this coming nor can I explain such behavior. My X who was my sound producer, took criminal posession of my master recordings and used those to falsely fingerprint and claim my original music, my copywritten material, even my ASCAP registered recordings and copywritten songs, on sites like Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, ITunes, YouTube and the like. All of this work he stole from me amounts to my life’s work as a composer, professional performer, instrumentalist, singer songwriter, professional vocalist, choir director, and credentialed music teacher.

Don't be naive like I was. Please be careful out there and protect your work thoroughly before you release it or share it. Please don’t sign any licensing contracts until you understand the meaning of terms such as “publishing” “writer” “composer” “licensing” “public domain” and the like.

Shine on artists, but always first, protect your work.

PS My new "Not The Girl" means that I am not the girl who will continue to be ripped off by art thieves.
