Album Notes
Inspired by a variety of musical influences such as Tron, Deadmau5, Skrillex, and older 8-bit game soundtracks, I bring you Retr0grade. With eight tracks all with a different feel and vibe, it spans a large spectrum of musical color and emotion ready to turn your aural world upside down and rock it out.

As a multifaceted musician, composer, and orchestrator, I feel that it's just not enough to have a catchy lead and a solid beat and call it an album; anyone can hammer out a line or two on a keyboard and loop it. I believe that each song that one creates has the potential to portray so much more emotion than that and it's something that I try to bring to the forefront in all of my pieces.
My past creations (soundtracks, piano music, and other oddities) have involved all sorts of genres, styles, and textures which lend a unique touch and perspective to my music and how I create it. This means I'm able to break free from the traditional mold of "pop electronic" and think from outside the box.

Now, I like to have absolute creative control over every aspect of a piece, including live instruments and vocals. So unless otherwise stated, everything is done by my hand or voice. The exceptions in this particular album are the female vocal in "Opalescence" for which I used East West Quantum Leap's Symphonic Choirs and the layered choir at the very beginning of "Arrival" which used the same thing. I also dislike auto-tune so none of the vocals are auto-tuned except for "Too Many Battleships'" which I wanted a particular sound for.
