Album Notes
“Just wanted to give you a shout and let you know that I think your music is awesome -- just edgy and folky enough at the same time! I can pick up on different influences -- everything from the Beatles to Tori. Awesome. I especially love She Don't Wanna. Aside from the lyrics, which are both witty and empowering, I think the guitar solo is rockin' and the use of the organ is simply, well, brilliant. Thanks for releasing it! Keep doing what you do. You are incredibly talented, and I think you have a nice way of storytelling to get across some important messages. (And a devoted fan base who are eager to listen!) Lots of fun to listen to.”

I admit I had good hopes for this CD. I remember Jule Styne saying that Barbra Streisand was a great singer because she was a great ACTRESS in each song. So I figured since Cady is such a nuanced and accomplished actress, how bad could her music be? How deliriously happy was I from the first track forward! I love all the songs, though early favorites are "California" and "Cool Blue". Cady's voice floats over the songs like refreshing water and the songs are unique and inspiring, rather like the mid-period of Joni Mitchell. I sure hope we get more from this lovely lady. I will miss her as Rosanna, but know she'll find success everywhere. I'd love to see her do an Irving Berlin CD or maybe Gershwin or Rodgers/Hart...she could make them her own simply by showing up! She's that good. BRAVA!!- Ralph Peters

Cady, I loved the music from the moment I listened, very beautiful and endearing lyrics. Poetry in Song and such a soothing voice. Very well done and and a definite feel good Cd. Be proud as it is a masterpiece. -Holly

Club Passim Review
I enjoyed the album. I found the music very pleasant to listen to. I thought the lyrics were very good and the audience seemed to be in tune with you and the songs. I liked Cool Blue, California, In the Silence, Crazy Now. You seemed very comfortable with the setting and the audience responded to you, and of course George did a very good job.
