ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Cahal Dunne was a child prodigy pianist by the age of 7.

He won all the major piano competitions in Ireland growing up.

His teacher bribed him with a pair of swinning flippers he desperately wanted.

All he had to do was sing a song in a competition.

She knew he could do this after he sang and played his first composition to her (called You Left Me).

Cahal describes this as the worst song ever written, but he won the singing contest and the flippers! He's been singing ever since.

His big break came when he represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Israel in 1979 with his own song Happy Man which became a number one hit.

He came to America in 1983 and tours continuously all over the country.

He has recorded 7 CDs and 3 videos here in America.

His latest video Thank You America is now being played on PBS.
