ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Cahal Dunne was a child prodigy pianist at the age of 7.

In his hometown of Cork City, Ireland.

He won every major competition on piano in Ireland.

He desperately wanted a pair of swimming flippers and was bribed by his music teacher to enter a singing competition after she heard his first composition (You Left Me), at the age of 11.

Cahal describes this as the worst song ever written but he needed those flippers so he entered the competition and won! He has been singing ever since.

He recieved his Bachelor of Music Degree at University College of Cork.

His big break came when he wrote a song called Happy Man and represented Ireland in Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest.

This event was watched on European television by over 500 million people.

He came to America in 1983.

His new video Thank You America is now appearing on PBS Nationally.

He has recorded 7 CDs and three videos in America.
