Album Notes
Melancholy, is the one word I’d describe my debut album ”The Shepherd” with. It has become a collection of bits and pieces of my life the past year through music and poetry. I worked alone, recording and playing all instruments myself, in my apartment. It brought out many different sides of me for better and worse. This is me, my art and contribution to the world and anyone who’ll take the time to experience it.

I am Cain Gordon, a 30 year old half Scottish and half Swedish dude trying to keep my karma cool. I first started my career as singer/guitarist in Hardcore/metal band painfield, touring Europe for 10 years until I started playing acoustic surf pop with my band tcabb. I went solo 2010 to be able to express myself in another way bringing my acoustic guitar, poetry and personal song writing to a whole new level. This has resulted in my first album “The Shepherd” released digitally April 8th 2011. My Scottish and Swedish roots together with my travels around the world have created my unique sound causing a positive kind of melancholy.

All I want to do is share my music with people around the world who’ll receive it, interpret it and make it mean as much to them as it does to me.
